Clothed In Him
I am naked in sin.
Bare, ashamed, trembling in fear.
Raw, beaten, bruised, blistered, the state of my skin.
A soul covered in clouds so drear.
But You, Lord, clothe me in the robe of Your glory!
Adorned, confident, steady, in dress.
Your goodness, an endless story.
My soul wrapped in Your faithfulness.
Draped in Your love, covered in your grace.
A cloth of astounding beauty and grandeur.
The protection and comfort of Your embrace.
My heart guarded and secure.
As the Lilies in the field He clothes me in His loveliness.
My soul is infused with His sweetness.
